"PRINCE CASPIAN'S ROYAL GUEST" SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
I. NAME OF SPONSOR
Radio Disney, a division of ABC Radio Networks Assets, LLC (Hereinafter referred to as "Sponsor")., P.O. Box 802626, Dallas, TX 75380, whose decisions are final and binding as to all aspects of this sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes").
II. ELIGIBILITY
The Sweepstakes is open to anyone 14 years of age or younger who is a legal resident of, and physically located within, the 50 United States or D.C. ("Territory").
Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have, within the past six months, performed services for Sponsor, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the Sweepstakes or supplying the prize, and their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play. "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.
III. HOW AND WHEN TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.
During the period commencing at 3:00:00 A.M., May 9, 2008, and ending at 3:00:00 P.M., May 16, 2008 ("Term"), Radio Disney will promote on-air "Prince Caspian's Royal Guest" Sweepstakes. For the purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times are Pacific Daylight Time.
Online Entry: Listeners may enter the Sweepstakes online between May 9, 2008 and May 16, 2008 ("Entry Period"). The Sweepstakes may only be entered On-line by a registered Disney.com guest ("Member"). If you are not already a Member, you may easily register to become a Member for free through the link on the site: "Register" by filling out the simple Registration Form. A Member may enter by going directly to www.RadioDisney.com/Win ("Website") and clicking on the "Prince Caspian's Royal Guest Sweepstakes" button, then clicking on the "Enter" button on the Sweepstakes page. After clicking the "Enter" button, Members will be asked to Log In with the Member Name and Password that was set up when you registered. Once you have logged in, a submission of your Entrant Information will result in one (1) On-line Entry to be entered into the Sweepstakes to win the Grand Prize. Your parent/legal guardian ("Parent") will be sent an initial e-mail notification advising Parent that his/her child has registered at RadioDisney.com for entry into a Radio Disney Sweepstakes, asking Parent to verify this entry by clicking on a link in the e-mail, validating child's entry as described in the e-mail and providing a phone number where the Parent can be reached if his/her child is chosen as a potential winner. After the validation process, the child will automatically be able to enter subsequent Radio Disney Sweepstakes by entering the correct Word and logging in up to once every day during a particular Sweepstakes period. If the Parent doesn't validate the child's registration and On-line Entry, the Entry will be denied. Normal internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply. It is your sole responsibility to notify Sponsor if you or your Parent change e-mail address ("Address"). To do so, go to http://register.go.com/disney/GuestServices/YourAccount/login, log into your Membership Account, click on the "Modify" icon and follow the instructions on how to change the Address.
Entries remain the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.
All Entries must be received or credited by 3:00:00 P.M., May 16, 2008.
Regardless of whether one person has more than one Address or more than one person use the same Address, only one (1) On-line Entry per person per Day is permitted (a maximum of eight (8) per entrant during the Term).
Sponsor is not responsible for failed, partial or garbled computer transmissions, or for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to electronic malfunction or damage of any network, hardware or software. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. No responsibility is assumed for: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; or any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, or software; or failure of any e-mail or electronic entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web-site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials from this Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute over an electronic entry, prize will be awarded to the owner of the e-mail account, not the name on the entry form.
IV. HOW AND WHEN WINNERS WILL BE SELECTED AND NOTIFIED
On or about May 19, 2008, one (1) Grand Prize Winner ("Winner") will be selected at random from all eligible Entries received.
Winner must meet all eligibility requirements. In the event Winner is deemed ineligible, or is not available to claim prize during specified dates, then an alternate winner will be selected at random, time permitting.
The Winner will be notified by phone on or about May 19, 2008; and will receive an Affidavit of eligibility/compliance with Rules, publicity/liability release and indemnification via mail within five (5) days of phone notification. All legal responsibilities of a minor under the Rules will be assumed by a Parent. Winner will be required to provide satisfactory proof to Sponsor of his/her age, identity and residency. Response to mail notification must be received by Sponsor within seven (7) business days or the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting.
Any person who has won a Grand Prize within six months of entry is not eligible to enter or play.
Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Sweepstakes received. Many will enter; only one (1) will win.
V. PRIZE(S)
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: The winner of the Sweepstakes ("Winner") will receive one trip for four (4) persons (Winner, Parent/Legal Guardian, and two other guests) ("Family") to the Walt Disney World® Resort ("Resort") to experience the new Journey into Narnia: Prince Caspian attraction ("Vacation"). In addition, the Family will receive a private Meet and Greet with a Narnia Prince Caspian character ("Meet and Greet") at the Resort. The Grand Prize package consists of the following elements: one (1) five (5) day / four (4) night vacation for four (4) to the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL ("City") including, [1] room accommodations (one (1) standard room) with a maximum of four (4) persons per room at a deluxe Walt Disney World® Resort hotel for four (4) nights; [2] one (1) private Meet and Greet with a Narnia Prince Caspian character at Disney's Hollywood Studios with family photo; [3] one (1) Disney character dining experience for four (4) persons; [4] four (4) five-day Magic Your Way™ tickets with PARK HOPPER® option. This custom ticket includes park hopping for the MAGIC KINGDOM®, EPCOT,® DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS AND DISNEY'S ANIMAL KINGDOM® Theme Park for five days; [5] one (1) two hundred fifty ($250) dollar Disney Gift Card; [6] complimentary use of transportation within the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resort; [7] if the Winner resides more than 250 miles from the City, round trip coach air transportation for four (4) between a major metropolitan city airport in the U.S. closest to Winner's residence ("airport of origin") and the Orlando International Airport in Orlando, FL; and [8] round-trip ground transfers for four (4) persons from the Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World® Resort via Disney's Magical Express. (Approximate Retail Value: ("ARV") $5,000). There are no other prizes. All expenses not specifically mentioned herein are not included and are solely the Winner's responsibility, including but not limited to: round trip transportation between the Winner's residence and any airport of origin, transportation to the hotel if the winner resides less than 250 miles from the City, meals; travel insurance; room service; laundry service; spa treatments; alcoholic beverages; local and long distance telephone calls; merchandise and souvenirs; incidental expenses; additional tips and gratuities; income taxes; and all other costs and expenses not otherwise mentioned herein. The Vacation and any of the above listed components may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded, commissioned or redeemed for cash value. Vacation elements may not be substituted and vacations are non-commissionable. Walt Disney World® Resort and airline regulations and restrictions apply. Resort accommodations and air travel are subject to availability and may not occur during blockout periods. Walt Disney World® Resort Vacation travel is available after June 30, 2008 and must be completed by May 8, 2009. Family must travel on the same itinerary and depart from the same airport of origin. The total ARV for Vacation is $5,000, which will vary depending upon points of departure and destination and seasonal fluctuation of hotel rates and airfares. The prize will be awarded provided it is validly claimed by June 15, 2008, after which an alternate Winner may be selected, time permitting.
All expenses not specifically provided for herein are the winner's sole responsibility. Some restrictions may apply.
Federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will receive an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the final actual value of any prize valued at $600 or more.
Winners are not entitled to exchange or transfer prizes or to obtain cash or other substitutes, but Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
If won by a minor, prize will be awarded in parent's or guardian's name.
Prize is subject to availability. Sponsor is not responsible for circumstances that make it impractical or impossible to fulfill all elements of the prize; the Meet and Greet with the Narnia Prince Caspian character has no retail value and Sponsor's only obligation will be to provide the remaining elements, if any, of the prize.
VI. RELEASES
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and the Sweepstakes administrator, which shall be final in all respects.
By participating in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting any prize that they may win, entrants agree to release Radio Disney, a division of ABC Radio Networks Assets, LLC, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, advertising and promotion agencies and prize suppliers, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives and employees, as well as each of their respective successors, representatives and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all actions, claims, injury, loss or damage arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, from participation in this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance or use of the prize.
Entrants authorize the Released Parties to use their name, voice, likeness, biographical data, city and state of residence and entry materials in programming or promotional material, in any media now known or hereafter created or conceived, worldwide in perpetuity, or on a winner's list, if applicable, without further compensation unless prohibited by law. Sponsor is not obligated to use any of the above mentioned information or materials, but may do so and may edit such information or materials, at Sponsor's sole discretion, without further obligation or compensation.
To claim prize, winner and/or winner's parent or guardian must: (a) provide proof of winner's age, residency, and legal status; (b) sign and return eligibility, publicity, liability and any other releases requested by Sponsor; and (c) have winner's intended guest(s) or travel companion(s), if any, sign and return releases requested by Sponsor; all within the time period(s) specified by Sponsor.
VII. MISCELLANEOUS; WINNERS' LIST
Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the contest in the event of tampering or other circumstances, including but not limited to acts of God or civil disturbance that render it impractical or impossible to complete or fulfill the contest as originally planned.
