You may wish to use your favorite Internet search engine to determine if the performer to whom you wish to write has an official Web site or fan club, or an agent to which you may direct your letter.
"How do I enter a Radio Disney Grand Prize Contest?"
A: There are two ways to enter Radio Disney's Grand Prize Contests:
- Listen to Radio Disney for our on-air contests. When our DJ's ask a question and you know the answer, call us at 1-888-EARS-018! If you win one of our on-air contests, you will be registered for our Grand Prize Contests. Our on-air contests happen once per hour and you win one prize per day.
- Listen for the Codeword of the Day on Radio Disney. Once you hear the codeword on Radio Disney, visit our Web site at RadioDisney.com. Then you could enter the codeword on the homepage. If it's the correct codeword then all you have to do is enter your Radio Disney username and password and you'll be registered for our Grand Prize Contests. Remember: You can enter the codeword only one time per day.
"How do I find more information about a contest I heard on your station?"
A: On the navigation bar click on "Win" , then from the menu click Listen for a Chance to Win
"My brother/sister and I use the same computer and your 'codeword of the day' sweepstakes won't let us both enter on the same day. Help!"
A: You need to close and restart your internet browser after the first person enters. This will re-set the sweepstakes, which set to only allow one entry per person per day. Once you restart the browser, the second person should be able to log-in with their own user name. If you still cannot get the page that tells you to enter a new Radio Disney Member Name and Password, then go to www.go.com and click on "Log Out" in the upper righthand corner of the page. Then go back to the "Listen for a Chance to Win", enter the right code word and then you should get the Radio Disney Log-in page again.
"I typed in today's codeword and it doesn't work."
A: There could be several reasons why today's codeword is not working for you. Please follow the steps below:
- Make sure you have the right codeword. If it's the right one, please continue.
- Check your spelling of the word. If it's correct, please continue.
- Check the date at the bottom navigation bar. Is it showing today's date? If not, please continue.
- Refresh the page. You can do this by hitting F5 on your keyboard or going to View > Refresh. If that still did not work, please continue.
- Clear your cache. Here's how:
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer (if you have it open)
- Re-Open Internet Explorer
- In the menu bar on the top, select "Tools", then "Internet Options..."
- Towards the middle of the window that pops up, click on "Delete Files..."
- Make sure the "Delete all offline content" box is checked, then click on "OK"
- Once the cursor has come back to normal (turned back into a pointer instead of an hourglass), click on "OK"
- Close Internet Explorer
- Open it again and go back to the web page you were trying to view.
"I think I'm looking at old content on RadioDisney.com."
A: If you are suspecting that you are seeing an old version of a web page, you might need to clear your "cache."
"Cache" is another word for "Temporary Internet Files". When you view a webpage, all the text and images are temporarily downloaded on your computer in these folders called "Cache Folders" or "Temporary Internet File Folders". These folders have a certain set capacity that, when full, can slow down the loading of webpages.
Here's how to Clear your Cache:
- Close all windows of Internet Explorer (if you have it open)
- Re-Open Internet Explorer
- In the menu bar on the top, select "Tools", then "Internet Options..."
- Towards the middle of the window that pops up, click on "Delete Files..."
- Make sure the "Delete all offline content" box is checked, then click on "OK"
- Once the cursor has come back to normal (turned back into a pointer instead of an hourglass), click on "OK"
- Close Internet Explorer
- Open it again and go back to the web page you were trying to view.
"Where can I download Acrobat Reader, Flash, Shockwave, Quicktime and REAL plug-ins?"
A: Visit the Disney.com Software Center.
