"How do I enter a Radio Disney Grand Prize Contest?"

A: There are two ways to enter Radio Disney's Grand Prize Contests:
  • Listen to Radio Disney for our on-air contests. When our DJs ask a question and you know the answer, call us at 1-877-870-5678! If you win one of our on-air contests, you will be registered for our Grand Prize Contests. Our on-air contests happen once per hour and you win one prize per day.
  • Listen for the Code Word of the Day on Radio Disney. Once you hear the code word on Radio Disney, visit the "Listen for a Chance to Win" page. Then you could enter the code word on the homepage. If it's the correct code word then all you have to do is enter your Radio Disney username and password and you'll be registered for our Grand Prize Contests. Remember: You can enter the code word only one time per day.

"How do I find more information about a contest I heard on your station?"

A: On the navigation bar click on "Win" , then from the menu click Listen for a Chance to Win

"My brother/sister and I use the same computer and your 'code word of the day' sweepstakes won't let us both enter on the same day. Help!"

A: You need to close and restart your internet browser after the first person enters. This will re-set the sweepstakes, which set to only allow one entry per person per day. Once you restart the browser, the second person should be able to log-in with their own user name. If you still cannot get the page that tells you to enter a new Radio Disney Member Name and Password, then go to www.go.com and click on "Log Out" in the upper righthand corner of the page. Then go back to the "Listen for a Chance to Win", enter the right code word and then you should get the Radio Disney Log-in page again.

"I typed in today's code word and it doesn't work."

A: There could be several reasons why today's code word is not working for you. Please follow the steps below:
  • Make sure you have the right code word. If it's the right one, please continue.
  • Check your spelling of the word. If it's correct, please continue.
  • Check the date at the bottom navigation bar. Is it showing today's date? If not, please continue.
  • Refresh the page. You can do this by hitting F5 on your keyboard or going to View > Refresh. If that still did not work, please continue.
  • Clear your cache. Here's how:
    1. Close all windows of Internet Explorer (if you have it open)
    2. Re-Open Internet Explorer
    3. In the menu bar on the top, select "Tools", then "Internet Options..."
    4. Towards the middle of the window that pops up, click on "Delete Files..."
    5. Make sure the "Delete all offline content" box is checked, then click on "OK"
    6. Once the cursor has come back to normal (turned back into a pointer instead of an hourglass), click on "OK"
    7. Close Internet Explorer
    8. Open it again and go back to the web page you were trying to view.

"I think I'm looking at old content on RadioDisney.com."
A: If you are suspecting that you are seeing an old version of a web page, you might need to clear your "cache."
"Cache" is another word for "Temporary Internet Files". When you view a webpage, all the text and images are temporarily downloaded on your computer in these folders called "Cache Folders" or "Temporary Internet File Folders". These folders have a certain set capacity that, when full, can slow down the loading of webpages. Here's how to Clear your Cache:

SWEEPSTAKES FAQ FOR PARENTS

Q: I received an e-mail asking me to validate my child's entry. I clicked on the link and it went nowhere.

A: Try to copy and paste the full URL to your Web browser.

Q: I don't see the credit card/phone number page?

A: Did you log in as a Registered User? In order to validate your child's entry you as a parent will need to be a registered user. If you're not a registered user please register with Disney.com.

Q: I don't know where to enter my phone number?

A: First, you must go to the e-mail that was sent to you regarding validating your child's e-mail address. Click on the URL provided then log in as a user of Disney.com. If you are already a member, just type in your user name and password. If you're not registered, you will need to go through the registration process to be a Disney.com user and receive a user name and password.

Once you've logged in, you will be led to the parental validation page. The following screenshot shows you where to enter your phone number. After entering your credit card information you will be asked to enter your phone number in the appropriate field. (Your credit card will only be used to verify yourself as an "adult" and will not be charged.)

Q: Can I just e-mail Radio Disney my phone number?

A: No. You must follow standard validation procedures which require the parent to validate their child via credit card, snail mail, fax or phone. Never e-mail your phone number to Radio Disney. These procedures are intended to protect the safety and privacy of your child.

Q: I gave my phone number to a person on the phone, faxed my phone number or U.S. mailed my phone number but I'm still getting emails asking me to validate my child. What's up?

A: You will only have to validate and provide Radio Disney with your phone number once. However, please note that if you validate via the PHONE, FAX, or U.S. MAIL, you MUST still GO ONLINE to enter your phone number there (using the link in the email we sent you) after a Customer Service Representative has listed your child as validated in our database. If your phone number is NOT entered online, you WILL CONTINUE TO RECEIVE THIS EMAIL each time your child enters the Radio Disney Sweepstakes, even though your child is legally entered either way. (We apologize for this inconvenience, but online entry of the phone number is the only way currently available to tell our database that we have all the information we need for your child's successful entry into our sweepstakes...and to stop this email from landing in your emailbox everyday!)

Q: "I have two kids who use the same computer and they can't both enter your 'codeword of the day' sweepstakes on the same day. What do I do?"

A: You need to close and restart your internet browser after each child enters in order to re-set the sweepstakes. Our sweepstakes is set to only allow one entry per person per day, and unless you restart the browser, the sweepstakes won't let a second child log-in. If you still cannot get the page that tells you to enter a new Radio Disney Member Name and Password, then go to www.go.com and click on "Log Out" in the upper righthand corner of the page. Then go back to the Listen to Win Page, enter the right code word and then you should get the Radio Disney Log-in page again.

Q: "How do I change my child's account information?"
A: You need to visit the Disney.com your account Guest Services page and log in with your Disney.com account that you validated your child with.

Q: How do I change the phone number I gave when I validated my child?

A: You can log-in here to update the phone number you gave us when you validated your child.
