Today we're doing a little holiday shopping. We can't believe that the holidays are coming so fast. We really just want to wish everyone the best for the Holidays and an awesome New Year! We don't know what the New Year will bring for our singing career, but we do know that we can always count on our mom, dad, family, friends and awesome fans for guidance, love and support! You guys are the best!!
You Rock!!!

We are going shopping to buy some things for our troops in Iraq. We have a program where we send Care Packages to our troops. We have been doing this for about 5 years. Our brother David was in the Marines for eight years and he helped us start our Adopt a Marine program, when he was stationed in Iraq. He would tell us how there were many Marines that didn't have families and needed basic things, so we use a portion of the proceeds from our CD's to help our troops. It is an honor for us to be able to help those that are protecting us!

We're having a concert at an ice skating rink. The rink has a special stage that is built above the ice. It is really cool because all the lights are turned off and all the laser lights are shooting everywhere. There's usually about 500 kids skating to our music and yelling for you down below. It's a huge dance party and tonight we're going to play our new re-mix of Missing Me Crazy! Jonnie used to ice skate competitively and then decided she wanted to be a musician and singer. I'm really glad she made that choice!

School was lots of fun today, but we need to get ready for finals in the next couple of weeks. Most people at our school don't know that we perform. We've never made a big deal about it and that's the way we like it. Right now we are making a video for our fans. They are really our inspiration for writing music and wanting to get on stage and rock out! We can't thank them enough for sharing our musical journey with us and for all their support through the years! On our video, we do thank yous, shout outs and answer questions and basically just be ourselves, which usually means being a little dorky and obnoxious.

Today we are at the studio making a "party remix" of our song Missing Me Crazy! We are going to use it for a concert that we'll have at an ice skating rink. The song was inspired by a little band called The Jonas Brothers, anybody heard of them (ha,ha). After we met the JB's a few times (they are seriously the nicest guys), they would always say "nice to see you again" and give us each a hug. We always wondered…do they even know our names? So when we were writing our songs with our awesome producers Kevan Cyka and Dan Needham they took the lyrics that we had written and added the music and came up with Missing Me Crazy!

Last night's concert was so much fun and we met so many new kids. Today we are helping our dad put up Christmas lights with our friends. Our dad really loves Christmas and puts up about 100,000 lights each year. Last year he put them all up to music. Some years he thinks "maybe I'll skip this year", but the neighbors all depend on our house to add holiday cheer, so he'll spend the next 3 weeks putting up lights. We mostly sit outside with a fire and hot chocolate and watch everyone drive by.

We have a huge concert for about 10,000 people at an event called the Ahwatukee Festival of lights. We are so excited and can't wait!! Savvy and Mandy are performing with us and we can't wait to see them again. We do concerts together called Girl Jam. The Girl Jam concerts are so much fun! We throw glow sticks and beach balls out to all the kids and just get on stage and rock out! This is our third show together and we all have the best time! We have lots of the same interests, are close in age and get along really well. Plus, we're both sister groups, which makes it fun!

Tonight we went to the movies at the drive in with our mom and lots of our friends. There are not too many Drive Ins left in the US, but if you get the chance to see a movie there, it's so much fun! We bring blankets, chairs, pizza, snacks and then hang out until the movie starts. The coolest part is we were able to dance and sing really loud at the Drive-In and just have a great time without anyone telling us to be quiet and to sit down.

We went shopping for some new clothes for our concert this weekend. I got some really cool boots to make me taller! Even though I am older than Brookie, she is taller than me. So, I just put on some heels and it's all good. We also got some awesome sunglasses too! They look kind of like the ones the Jonas Brothers wear! They're really fun! Today we are taking a break and just hanging out and doing homework with our friends. Our song "For Better" is about best friends and how they are always there for each other. So we want to give a shout out to some of our friends. We love you guys and thanks for being so supportive and being the best friends, "for worse or for better".

We just got back from performing our Kids CAN Make a Difference assembly at an elementary school. We had the best time and it was so rewarding! Brookie and I developed this assembly so we could teach kids the importance of having good character. We have performed this assembly for thousands of kids during the past three years. After we pull out our pink guitars and sing the latest song that kids are familiar with, the kids are willing to listen to what we have to say about having good character, respecting their peers and teachers, getting good grades, remaining drug free and more. We interact with all the kids and they are so amazing. During one part of the assembly, we choose one child out of the audience to come on stage and sing with us. The child we chose today was so grateful because it was her dream to become a singer. She told us after the show that today her dream had come true. It almost made us cry. It's amazing that we have been given this platform to use our voices to make a difference for these kids. It has been the most important part of our singing career!

Just got back from school. We are considered home schooled students but attend regular school a few hours a day. This year we are taking Spanish, math and dance. Plus we stay for lunch, which our mom calls our social hour. The rest of our school work is done online. After school, we usually rehearse for upcoming shows or learn new songs on the piano and guitar. Today we have vocal and piano lessons. Our teacher Diana has been there for us since we were young. She is an amazing teacher! After a couple of hours of learning to enunciate all our words and play the piano and sing at the same time, we're ready to go home and eat dinner. We can't say that we have time to sit down for a home cooked meal all the time but we do try to eat together somewhere!

Today we have guitar lessons. Brian our guitar teacher is really cool! He is very honest with us and tells us if we're good or bad. Every once in a while we don't work as hard as we should and then there's others that he tells us how much we Rock! At our lessons we will play live on a stage, just as if we we're at a show. Then Brian critiques us! Many times we lose focus and end up on the floor laughing! Brookie and I are pretty much together 24 hours a day. We have two classes together, we rehearse and practice together, and we have the same friends. When we do interviews, we're always asked "Do you two fight". Of course we do, but only about things like clothes, bathroom space and hair straightners. We really are each other's best friends!

During the holidays, we stay pretty busy with concerts and shows. Today we traveled by car, but we have traveled by plane, tour bus and even train. Whatever gets us there! It was a long drive so we slept, did school work on the computer and slept some more. The show turned out great and we met lots of our fans and made some new ones. We are having so much fun playing our original songs live! It's so amazing that we are being able to share these songs that we wrote with all of you! You guys are making our dreams come true!
Many kids that we meet ask us how they can get in this business. We tell them what our parents told us, practice, practice and practice some more. Plus, don't ever let anyone tell you you're not good enough. You may not be now, but if you work hard, set goals and don't give up, you will be one day!

We played at an event called Anthem Tree Lighting. It's in Arizona and it's a huge event where people come to see the lighting of the largest Christmas tree in Arizona. It was amazing! There were about 7,000 people there and the crowd really liked our music. People always ask us if we get nervous before a big show and the answer is "no". Actually the more people there, the more energized we become on stage! It is so fun to look out in the audience and just watch everyone singing to our songs and dancing! It was so exciting to get to meet all the people at our meet and greet!! Our fans are truly amazing, so supportive and totally Rock! We wouldn't be where we are without each and every one!
Oh and we got to see Mitchell Musso again, since he was performing on the same stage. His show was awesome and so is he!!!
