Day 1
Hey everyone. Today was an awesome day! I went into the studio and wrote with my producer. We are working on three new songs right now. Two are my originals, and the other one is a song that he's writing for me. He said, "I want to write you a hit". I haven't even gotten to hear it yet, but I can't wait to see what he comes up with! The track we worked on today is called "Now That I've Found You". It's about the beginning stages of a relationship when you're so head over heels that you hope it'll last forever. I'm really happy with the way it's turning out! I hope that you will all love it. The writing session lasted about 3 hours, and then I was honored enough to attend LA Fashion Week. It was a fashion show for the designers. It was an incredible experience! I got to walk the red carpet (for the first time ever!!) with a couple of my friends that are also music artists and actors. First we posed for photographers on the red carpet, and then we were filmed and interviewed. I took my mom to the fashion show as well. We had a great time watching all the models walk the runway and just meeting some really interesting people. Aimee Teegarden was there as well as a bunch of other actors, models, and music artists! Anyway, I better do some school work...and then get to sleep! Catch up with you guys tomorrow

Day 2
So today was not quite as hectic of a day as yesterday, but it was a good day. In the morning, I picked up some head shots and brought them over to my agency. In case you don't know, agents mail out head shots to try to get their clients auditions for all types of work such as television, film, commercial, etc. It's pretty cool! After that, I chilled at home to catch up on some school work. I thought of a really catchy melody for a song randomly today, so I may try to write some lyrics to it over the next couple of days. The lyrics and melody usually come to me at the same time, but sometimes I'll just start humming a tune and then later write some lyrics to fit that melody. Everyone has their own writing process which is so fascinating to me. It's funny because songs often pop into my head out of nowhere. So I could be doing anything from exercising to doing homework and suddenly I will think of an idea for a song! I always try to record what I come up with as soon as possible because it can easily and unexpectedly escape my mind! Anyway, I also ate sushi today for lunch-it was from the grocery store (ha-ha) BUT that doesn't change the fact that it's the best food on earth! Tonight I went bowling with a group of friends and then we went out to eat afterwards. It was a lot of fun! Peeeeeace.

Day 3
Hey all. I had a crazy day, but that's the way I like it! Ha-ha I'm on such a weird schedule lately...I go to bed around 2-3 AM and wake up at 10ish. I have to work on that...lol anyway, I went into the recording studio today and did some more writing, but on a different song this time. The track my producer and I worked on today is called "My Note". It's such a sad song, but it's probably the best ballad I've ever written so I'm looking forward to seeing, or hearing rather ha-ha, the finished product. It's definitely going to be a tear jerker. I also got to hear the guitar part that was laid down for the song "Now That I've Found You". They recorded it when I wasn't there and it sounds awesome! We are probably recording vocals for both of the songs at the end of this week so I have to do some practicing on my own. I also went to an audition today for an "R&B Showcase" in which Stevie Wonder and Brian McKnight will be performing at. Unfortunately, they were running late and could not fit all of us in to audition. The good news is that they rescheduled me to try out next week instead, so I'm fine with it. Everything happens for a reason, right? Lastly, I had rehearsal tonight for a play that I'm in. It's a dark comedy that's really wacky, but I think the "out there" stories and characters are the most interesting and enjoyable to take on. The show is gradually improving. I can't wait until we open and have an audience to entertain!

Day 4
I had my Radio Disney interview today! It was a blast. Everyone at Disney was so nice and easy to talk to. I think it went very well . After that, I did some preparing for an audition I had today. I had to say and do some hilariously gross things in the scenes! The audition was a lot of fun. I did my best and that's all I can do! The rest is out of my hands. So we'll see what happens. Once the audition ended, I did some school work (Spanish..yay ha-ha) for a couple of hours. Then at night I had acting class. By the time it was over, I was exhausted from such a long but exhilarating day. I'm going into the studio to record vocals for two of my new songs tomorrow!! I better get some rest. And by the way, thank you for reading this. I hope I'm not boring you with my daily life lol Night night

Day 5
Yo! So it's about 3 am right now. I spontaneously stayed up this late to reply to some fans online. I'm about ready to pass out ha-ha, but first let me tell you about my eventful day. I recorded the vocals on my song "Now That I've Found You" today. There are still a bunch of instruments that need to be added to the track, but it's going to be sooooo HOT! It already sounds really good. Lol I love making songs that are unique and different compared to my other songs..and that's exactly what I've been trying to do. Each one has its own vibe. We didn't have the time to record vocals on my other song, but we are planning to do that next week. My producer is working so hard right now but he's still making time for me! After the studio session, I grabbed some Chinese food with my mom and a family friend... ha-ha I thought you might like to know that. Then I had the first rehearsal with my two back-up dancers for future live performances. The three of us thought of some choreography for the song "Worth It or Not". Both of the girls are very talented so I know the outcome is going to be great. My first live performance with them is in about a month, so we've got a lot of dancing and practicing to do in the meantime!

Day 6
Today I did some shopping with my mom for the future. I needed some new outfits for upcoming events such as concerts and fashion shows. Some clothes are ridiculously expensive ha-ha so we were very selective. I don't mind shopping, but it gets boring after a while! After the spree, I went to eat. I went with my mom...again lol. Moms make best friends! Don't ever forget that. Then I took a nap before rehearsal because it's been a long, tiring week. I love sleep. Afterwards, I did a coffee run to wake up. I had practice tonight for the play I'm in. We open in just a little over a month! It's going by so quickly-I can't believe it. When I got home from rehearsal, I had to film myself singing for a TV show audition. It's been a great week so far. I'm loving life. Hope things are well with ya'll! Catch up with you tomorrow ;)

Day 7
I had rehearsal again for the play in the morning. The best part about doing a play is seeing how our performances grow and improve over time. Once that ended, I went to get a new digital camera because my other one was stolen (long story-it's basically my fault ha-ha) . But this new camera is slim and white, making it easy to carry around. It was kind of uncomfortable to put my old camera in my pocket. Plus, it looked weird. So in the end I'm happy that I had to get a new camera because my other one was out of style ha-ha just kidding...I'm not like that. I also went to an Amusement Park to be a guest judge for a talent competition. We were stuck in traffic for almost 3 hours on the way there, but other than that it went smoothly. There were several talented performers! The only minor detail I did not like was the rule stating that I wasn't allowed to talk to any of the competitors because they wanted my judgment to be nonbiased and fair. I wanted to go up to some of the talent and compliment them on the stunning performance they gave, but I couldn't lol. Later.

Day 8
I had a wonderful day with my family and friends today. We went to a ceremony at the Hollywood Bowl. The music was spectacular. It was like pop/rock music or contemporary music. They also had a huge choir and a full orchestra. In New Jersey, we never had anything like that in my church. Anyway, afterwards we went out to brunch. It was delicious food, but I ate too much lol I was soooo stuffed by the end. Then I went to a fashion show and art gallery. I was interviewed for an online website and photographed for magazines. The interviewer asked me to sing on the spot, so I did!! I also met some informative people involved in the music industry that I learned a lot from. It was a GREAT day!

Day 9
I laid down vocals for my song "My Note" today. We are adding a 5-piece orchestra to it so I think it'll sound really pretty! I was exhausted after the recording studio session because I stood up and sang my heart out for four or five hours straight. I took a nap for an hour (ha-ha...I slept like a baby), did some homework, and then one of my back-up dancers came over for rehearsal. We put together some choreography for "Worth It or Not" in addition to the choreography we already came up with at a previous rehearsal. It was a fun way to end the day. After dance rehearsal, I got back to some friends and fans online!

Day 10
I had a pretty good day...I did some work in the morning-ran some errands, put some packages together for mail-outs, prepared for an audition, etc. In the afternoon, I had an audition for a pilot. I had to do a British accent, which is my best accent! I think it went very well. The casting director said to me, "You're a great actor, Tyler". But that might secretly mean that he thought I was terrible ha-ha you never know...Other than that, I had acting class. It was close-up night, so I had to be subtle and somewhat still as if the camera were tight on my face. I always have a good time with the people in my acting class. Later ;)

Day 11
I had another audition today! Anyway, the audition was for two best friends. I went in with my best friend out here in LA. All we had to do was be ourselves. Easy enough! It was a lot of fun actually. I also caught up on some history homework. We are re-working my music video for "Goin' to LA" a little bit so I'm planning on working with my producer and fine tuning it next week. I also had rehearsal tonight for the play I'm in called "The House of Yes". I think I told you guys about it in an earlier blog. We did a run-thru of the whole play!! If you've ever been in a show, then you know how exciting it can be as it all comes together! Alright home slices, I have to do some preparing for an audition I have tomorrow.

Day 12
I'm loving life I practiced for an audition all day. It was for a pilot about a boy band from New Jersey that moves out to Cali. I'm a music artist from New Jersey that moved out to LA, so how perfect is this role for me!!? Ha-ha In the audition today, I had to sing a segment from two songs and then do a scene from the script. I have a good feeling about this one! It feels like it's meant to be...but I won't find out if I get a call back or not until next week. Afterwards, I hung out with a group of my friends. We went bowling and watched a movie at my friend's place. It was not my best game ha-ha but it was a good time overall!

Day 13
I had play rehearsal all day. One of the producers of the production is the general manager at a hotel on Sunset Blvd., so we got to rehearse in a nice hotel room. Hotels make my life ha-ha! After hours of rehearsing, I just hung out at home with one of my friends. I wanted to have a chill evening because it's been a busy week. My two new songs should be finished this week...I'm impatiently waiting 'cause my work is done on the tracks lol. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Day 14
This is my last blog entry I've been playing catch up with school work basically all day. I have to take a Spanish test now...great ha-ha. I also have a voiceover audition tomorrow that I have to experiment with beforehand so I know what I'm doing when I show up at the agency to record it! I have to sound like a "mean 15 year old". It's so thrilling to be an actor. I can portray a different character every day! Anyway, I'm going to wrap this up by saying thank you for reading my entries and taking the time to get to know me a little bit. I've enjoyed sharing my experiences with you all. Follow your dreams!!!
