Tyler Shamy is a 16 year old actor, singer, song writer, and dancer born in New Jersey. Since August of 2007, he has been living in Los Angeles to pursue his musical career as well as acting in film, television, commercial, and voiceover. Tyler works with Grammy Award-Winning producer Christian Davis of Sly Doggie Productions, who produced Shamy's songs titled "Now That I've Found You", "My Note", "U-Turn", "Worth It or Not", "You", & "Goin' to LA".

Tyler knew at a very young age that he passionately wanted to pursue a career as a performer. Inspired by his father who is a singer, song writer, and pianist, Tyler started writing music when he was about twelve years old and now has over twenty five original songs. Tyler writes the lyrics and melody to his songs. Though not a trained pianist or guitarist, Ty often plays the piano and guitar by ear when writing. Shamy is commonly referred to as a younger version of Justin Timberlake or Jesse McCartney. His music has been featured internationally on radio stations. Shamy has also been chosen to be a roster artist on the "School Zone Pop! Tour", in which concerts are performed for middle schools and high schools as fund raisers to support performing arts programs. Tyler enjoys giving back to the community by performing at charity events for non-profit organizations. Additionally, Tyler is donating one of his songs to "Cure Across the World".

Shamy has worked in theatre since the young age of seven and began film, commercial, and voiceover work by the time he reached age thirteen. He can be seen in several independent and short films, an online educational resilience program distributed to schools and kids worldwide, and a Public Service Announcement airing on the internet. Tyler has also been seen in numerous community, regional, and professional productions of musicals and plays throughout the years including an Off-Broadway showcase and a regional tour. He had the honor of receiving a Perry Award nomination for "Outstanding Young Male Performer in a Musical". Tyler can be heard on three of the acclaimed Kids' Music Round CDs, as well as voiceovers for a video game and the Educational Testing Service. Tyler consistently trains with highly respected acting and vocal coaches to stay on track with his craft.

Already attracting fans around the globe, Tyler's career is sure to be a successful one. Shamy has worked hard to develop a style of his own. He is recognized for his unique mixture of pop, R&B, rock, and soul. It is uncommon to find an artist who can effortlessly sing such a wide range of genres. Tyler's goal is to create music which inspires, impacts, and entertains. Sometime in the near future, he hopes to tour all around the U.S. and eventually, throughout the world.
