Day 1
Meeting at Hollywood records. I need to do my vocal warm-ups and pick out a cute outfit. I am excited to be going over to the Disney lot, after all Disney is the Happiest Place on Earth! LOL!
Day 2
I have a phone and Internet interview. I love those because they ask really funny questions like, "if you were an ice cream, what flavor would you be?" I'm like, "HUH? Cookie Dough?" Not sure what that tells about me but it's my favorite flavor. I have an acting lesson with my acting coach.
Day 3
Today I have an audition it should be pretty quick. It's for a tomboy-type girl who is really funny. Love the funny ones and I played softball for 10 years so I can do tomboy. FUN. I had a chance to play the piano today, which is my favorite thing ever.
Day 4
I'm going to an award show with Romeo because we just finished a movie together. He is so like a big brother to me. It's cool cuz he watches out for me. THIS IS GOING TO BE AN EXPERIENCE. YAY.
Day 5
Regular day…school, homework, the usual. I picked my cousin up at the airport. We are the same age and BFF (best friends forever!) She is going to be here for a few days and we always have the best time together. When she leaves she usually takes a bunch of my clothes and I take a bunch of her clothes - but we don't tell each other. So, when she gets home, she calls me and is like, "do you have my pink shirt?" and I am like, "do you have my green sweat pants?" We have been doing this since we were about 5 years old. It's like shopping without shopping.
Day 6
I'm in Dallas, TX and just finished the first day of the mall tour that I am on to promote my movie. I'm originally from Texas so I got to fly home to Houston first and then go to Dallas. It was so fun. There were a ton of people there and I signed autographs and gave out posters. I got to meet a bunch of kids that were really nice. They had me sing to the crowd a cappella and I also sang three of my songs with music, which the crowd loved. Really fun day - I had the best time.
Day 7
Normal day. I have a music video shoot tomorrow and need to be ready for that. So I need to get all of my homework done. That will be an all day event.
Day 8
I shot a music video today to my song Madam President. It was cool - I love getting makeup and hair and all that done. You know what's funny? All the grown-ups on set started dancing to my music when it was played-back. They have some moves that I have never seen before!
Day 9
Another stop on my mall tour. Romeo came along on this one with me. It was really crowded. The first and second floors of the mall were packed with fans. I sang on a stage they set up for me and Romeo and I signed a ridiculous number of autographs. We took so many pictures that I was blinded from the flashes, but we had a great time. After the signing, we went out to eat and that was pretty fun because we had a big group of people and took over the restaurant.
Day 10
I got two new tracks today to listen to see if any of them were good for me. I loved one of them and started to write lyrics to it. I really like writing my own lyrics if I can because it means something to me. I have written almost everything I have recorded and just really feel it if it's from my heart. I think I will have this finished in the next few days and hope that I can record it this weekend.
Day 11
My mom and I drove down to San Diego today. I have family there and I'm just going to relax for a day or two. I have a huge family - they are everywhere. I love that.
Day 12
Today was another mall tour day, this time in Bentonville, Arkansas. We have the nicest driver ever. He is really interesting and talkative. The mall was really pretty and outdoors. It was a new mall and I had a great time.
Day 13
I recorded the theme song for the Family Justice Centers. I like doing stuff like this because I know it well help people. It's a place for families that need help in different situations. The song was good and everyone I worked with was cool. I did homework in between working. I am picky about my homework because my mom wont let me do any working unless my grades are good so I have to keep them up.
Day 14
I can't believe it!! I met Jennifer Hudson at the airport. I was so excited. She has such a good voice and was soooooooo good in that movie; I really admire her.
Today was the last date of the mall tour. A family friend went with me to Minneapolis because my sister is going to PROM so my mom stayed home to be with her. (My sister's dress looks so pretty!) There were tons of people at the mall and I performed three times. Hope to see everyone out on my next tour. XOXO Forrest
